Presenter Guidelines
Thank you for contributing to AQMCSE 2026. These guidelines will help you prepare for your oral or poster presentation and ensure a smooth conference experience.
General information
AQMCSE brings together participants from academia, industry and technology providers. Please make your presentation accessible to an interdisciplinary audience and clearly explain the practical relevance of your work.
- All presentations and presentation materials must be in English.
- Presenters must register for the conference and pay the applicable registration fee.
- Check the online programme for your final presentation date, time and location.
- The presenting author is responsible for informing all co-authors about the presentation arrangements.
- If you are unable to present, notify the conference secretariat as soon as possible.
- Acknowledge co-authors, collaborators and funding organisations, and disclose any relevant conflicts of interest.
Oral presentations
Your allocated presentation and discussion time will be shown in the conference programme. Please keep strictly to this schedule. Session chairs may stop presentations that exceed the allocated time.
Preparing your slides
- Use PowerPoint (
.pptx) or PDF format. - Use a widescreen 16:9 layout.
- Use clear fonts, high-contrast colours and a recommended minimum font size of 24 pt.
- Keep text concise and clearly label graphs, diagrams and tables.
- Explain specialist terminology and abbreviations.
- Include a title slide with the title, presenter, affiliation and co-authors.
- End with your main conclusions and, if appropriate, your contact details.
Before your session
- Arrive at the presentation room at least 15 minutes before the session begins.
- Introduce yourself to the session chair and technical support team.
- Confirm that your slides, videos and animations display correctly.
- Remain in the room for the full session whenever possible.
- Bring a backup copy of your presentation on a USB drive.
Upload your slides in Dryfta
Upload your final presentation through the AQMCSE 2026 Dryfta platform by the deadline communicated to you.
- Log in Sign in to your AQMCSE 2026 Dryfta account.
- Open your Dashboard Go to your personal conference Dashboard.
- Find Speaker Arrangements Select Speaker Arrangements in your Dashboard.
- Select your presentation Choose the relevant contribution from the list.
- Submit Your Slides Select Submit Your Slides and choose your file.
- Check your upload Make sure the correct file has been uploaded successfully.
File name: Please use Session_PresenterSurname_ShortTitle. If you revise your presentation, upload the final version before the communicated deadline.
Poster presentations
Posters must be prepared in A0 format (841 × 1189 mm). Follow the display schedule communicated in your acceptance information and print your poster before travelling unless the organisers have confirmed that on-site printing is available.
Poster content
- Presentation title and poster number
- Names and affiliations of all authors
- Presenter's contact details
- Background and objective
- Methods or approach
- Main results and conclusions
- Practical implications, acknowledgements and funding information
Design and display
- Use A0 format (841 × 1189 mm).
- Keep the text concise and organise the content using clear headings.
- Make text and visuals readable from approximately 1–2 metres away.
- Clearly label graphs, images and diagrams, and explain abbreviations.
- Highlight one clear main conclusion or takeaway.
- Mount your poster only on the board displaying your assigned poster number.
- Be present at your poster during the assigned poster session.
- Remove your poster by the communicated deadline.
Changes, confidentiality and photography
- Do not include confidential, copyrighted or commercially sensitive material unless you have permission to present it publicly.
- If you do not want your slides or poster photographed, clearly indicate this on your presentation materials and inform the session chair.
- If the presenting author changes, or if you need to withdraw, contact the conference secretariat promptly. Include your submission number, presentation title and the names of the original and replacement presenters.
